The Current Calypso Poet
Carver 466 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht 2001 Model
In the summer of 2005, we acquired our fourth Calypso Poet, trading our trusty Carver 396 for her bigger sister, a Carver 466. She spent two years (2004-2006) at Aqua Yacht Harbor at the head of the Tenn-Tom Waterway, one year (2006-2007) at Pebble Isle Marina on the Tennessee River Mile 96, and until 2017, at the Litte Rock Yacht Club, Arkansas River Mile 132. Now that Coleen has retired, we're travelling again. The Poet is presently (summer 2017) back on the Tennessee River, re-exploring familiar waters and finding new delights.
We have really enjoyed this boat, particularly because of her diesel engines and larger fuel capacity. She is a very comfortable boat in all respects.
